Well there’s no better way to begin a meaningful relationship than by making a great first impression, so know where to you take your prospective woman when the Texas moon is full. Here are our recommendations for the best first date spots in the Metroplex.

1. Galaxy Drive In Theater Try staying away from traditional high end restaurants. Over the course of a relationship there will be plenty of time to win and dine, but first dates should be distinctly memorable. The Drive In offers an old timey feel she will be sure to remember. Not to mention, if you’re a little shy or awkward, there’s a no talking policy at movie theatres, playing right into your wheelhouse.
2. 300 Dallas If you can’t lift at least a 10-pound ball with reasonable ease or fall back on the time-tested “I sprained my wrist in calligraphy class” excuse, it might be in your best interest to continue scrolling down the page, but for those who enjoy a side of bowling mixed in with your hearty, chef-prepared entre, 300 Dallas has you covered. Worth area foodies have had a monthly sanctuary in which to come together under the common bond of delicious eats at The Single Gourmet. After all, who cares if you overindulge as long as you have somebody to gain weight with? There’s no minimum weight requirement, but for singles who would rather order more than a dainty salad and could use a night out fellow veterans of the DFW dating scene, The Single Gourmet has offered the best of both worlds.As a member of The Single Gourmet, participants have been privy to classes and instruction in both gourmet cooking and fine dining, with a full calendar of specially hosted events catering to unattached men and women between the ages of 30 and 70, finally giving a reprieve from the loud, bar-centric social setting even aging singles have been all too often subjected to.
