One of the things that can keep us edgy and unhappy as  Believers is the false assumption that everything God is doing is something we can clearly see and know.  Depending on ones perspective, some would see God as at work only in the Conservative Evangelical Community of the USA.  Many speak as if God is an American and that what happens in our country is really all that matters much.  The two following Biblical accounts might give us pause to think about the basic nature of God and how he chooses to work.

Mark 10: 13-16 tells the story of Jesus and the little children.  People were bringing their kids to see Jesus and to try to have Jesus touch their children.   Sometimes the telling of this story misses the fact that the children were not coming on their own (how could they?) but they were being brought by their parents to see and to touch Jesus.  Why?
