I hope you will post a comment when you read the blog and let me know what you think. That will help me do a better job of using this ministry outlet in a more effective way.
When you post a comment, the webmaster has a built in safe guard to protect us from anyone who might post something inappropriate. So the system sends the response to a place where it can be read and approved before it is posted to the public.
I wish such measures were not necessary but they are...the web can be wild and wooly (like the Old West) and the nature of our open and accepting outreach can draw attacks. So this is done to protect everyone.
However, I hope this will not be off-putting. Please post your comments and thank you for continuing to tell me personally how you reacted to the blog entry.
I am going to give this information and the initial blog another week to become known and I'll be back with another entry next week.
Remember that we have a discussion function called “Forums” for members...it is totally open to anyone who is logged on to the website (you have to look at the little "login/logout' link in the upper right corner to know when you are logged in). Once you log in, you can post anything you wish to discuss or talk about. Please take advantage of the Forums. I have a post there and Tim Möhle has an excellent posting about how to respond to the homeless guests we have each week at our assembly. I encourage you to read and join in those discussions.
May God bless us as we continue to Glorify Him at New Hope Fellowship Church and in the lives of those we touch. It is an honor to serve among such a loving fellowship of Believers.
Grace and Peace,
Allen
